This page contains important information about the migration of your Sms ExtraPro account to CM.

What are the benefits of the new platform?

Here is a non-exhaustive list of the improvements:

  • Send SMS with your texts directly in your excel file.
  • Free Status reports.
  • No more extra cost for international sending.
  • Better description for the Status Reports
  • Possibility to send Unicode SMS.

 

Why are you migrating SMSExtraPro?

Sms ExtraPro

When we’ll migrate your account, we’ll also move all your contacts and directories. You’ll find your list and contacts on the new interface without doing anything. (More info about CMDirect contacts)

What will happen to my contacts?

Yes. Your available credits will be converted into CM Direct credits. On SMSExtraPro you had an amount in € which was deduced based on your sending (with status reports / without status reports / international SMS / local SMS). On CMDirect you’ll only have an amount of credits (1 credit = 1 SMS).

Will you transfer my credits?

SMSExtraPro will be moved to a new platform to benefit from the latest technologies. The new platform will allow us to easily add new options when it’s needed. Furthermore you’ll also have access to the status reports without any extra cost and you’ll also be able to send Unicode SMS directly from the new web interface.

No. The actual SMSExtraPro API will still be functional. You do not need to adapt your software to send SMS. But you’ll have to log on the new website when you want to purchase a SMS Pack. (You’ll log automatically on the new platform if you go through SMSExtraPro website.)

Should I adapt my software to be able to send SMS with the API?

Should I adapt my software to treat the Status Reports ?

Yes. The new platform allow us to provide more details regarding the delivery failures. Due to that we had to adapt our error codes scheme. You can find the list of the new codes on our help center.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of the features that won’t be available for the moment:

  • Forward Replies per email (in development)

Yes, you can already create an account on our website www.cmdirect.be ; please note that your contacts won’t be transferred automatically if you create an account yourself.
